What can I say about this magical wedding – it was fabulous and I enjoyed every second of it. The preparations were fun with the perfect services of Gemma (www.aliceandgemma.com) for make up and Shambhala Hair design from Christchurch (www.shambhalahairdesign.co.nz). After the ceremony in the Catholic Church in Wanaka we flew up to Mt Burke – beautiful to catch the last sun rays! After that we went to the family property and enjoyed delicious catering by www.63b-caterers.co.nz in the beautifully decorated Marquee hired from www.wanakapartyhire.co.nz. And yes – the cake was from www.cakesofwanaka.co.nz - it looked YUMMIE! What a special day – Thank you for inviting me to be your photographer. I loved it!.
Welcome Michael Rex
You can say what you want but seeing a newborn is always a moment of astonishment for me. This little person has made it to our world and his presence is so pure and magical that I completely forget everything else around me. Thank you Vicky and Rex, for sharing these special moments with me…:) And Thank you Jack for being such an awesome big big brother taking good care of your youngest brother.
preview of Kelly and Andrew’s wedding
Just a sneak preview of the wedding 2 weeks ago….
Still editing.
Hutere and his Mama
Lovely portrait shooting of little Hutere and his Mama in Beckenham Park. Such a cutie! And the best is – his photo will be included in our new print edition of the book “did you know” (Yes, another 2000 books!). We have celebrated our 2200 books sale within 1 year and this time we will sell them in 6 months or less.:)
Thank you so much Hutere and Briana.
Nikki and her family
Another fabulous family portrait in the busy wedding season… Loved it!
Steve and Malcolm
It is always great for me to photograph couples in love …. Thank you Steve and Malcolm for this photo shooting in Hagley Park.
Preschool Sydenham teachers
Yes, it was time for sone fresh and natural photos of the staff at Sydenham Preschool in Christchurch. So we met and had a quick photo shooting outside the premises – Thank you for your lovely comments.:)
Stephanie and James’s wedding at Lookout Lodge
What a day! So much laughter and joy in one day – just fabulous. I have not been to a wedding where there was so much laugher all day. I think I do hardly have any photos of the bride looking “serious” at all – she was just overflowing with love and joy in her beautiful dress.
Thank you so much Stephanie and James for this wonderful wedding day and for allowing me to capture your precious moments…
And that was their feedback:)
“WOW! We love the photos! They are gorgeous- so many good shots to choose from!!
Thank you sooooo much for all your help- it was great to have you there on the day- lots of people have been telling us how lovely you were! The photos just look great- one of my favourite shots (and there are lots of favourites) is no 168 I think- one of me by the lake with my veil and ribbon flying out behind me- it looks really lovely!”
I agree – that is a fabulous shot. Have a look yourself.:)
Lakisha and her family
It was just fabulous to have a portrait shooting with Lakisha and her parents in the park a few weeks ago. She is a “natural” like so many kids and just “IS” in the moment without thinking or posing. I got some lovely shots of her playing and hugging her parents.
Thanks so much!
Elena & Simon’s wedding at Stoneridge Estate
When Simon called me only 5 weeks before their wedding day and asked if I could photograph their “russian – kiwi” wedding at Stoneridge Estate in Queenstown, I immediately said YES. Not only that the location is magical and beautiful, I was also attracted to their international wedding (african priest, russian bride, kiwi groom).
On the wedding day, driving over the Crown Range from Wanaka was like so often – marvelous and Queenstown presented itself from the best side. Elena and her family from Russia were busy getting ready when I arrived at the Hotel in Queenstown.
The ceremony was in the little chapel at Stoneridge Estate and full of laughter and joy. We got some great shots in the stunning gardens and later up on the mountain – thanks to a fantastic heli flight. (I LOVE my “job”!) Back at the Estate we had some wonderful traditional games and after dinner a magic fire dancer. Just gorgeous! Thank you so much for inviting me to your very special wedding….
